Subject: SamTrans Express Bus Study Upcoming Events

SamTrans is studying the possibility of new express bus service through San Mateo County, to San Francisco and Santa Clara counties, with some routes potentially running in a managed lane on US-101.

We want to hear from current and potential riders to create an express bus service that meets your needs. Please attend our community open house or visit our booth at one of the following events. Information on the events and a fact sheet about the SamTrans US-101 Express Bus Feasibility Study are attached. You can also read more about the study on the SamTrans website here.

Upcoming events:

· June 2 – 9 am to noon: pop-up event at the San Mateo Farmer’s Market

· June 3 – 11 am to 4 pm: pop-up event at Sunday Streets San Francisco in the Sunset

· June 9 – 10 am to noon: pop-up event at the University Avenue Farmer’s Market in Palo Alto

· June 9 – 1 pm to 3 pm: pop-up event at Facebook Fest in Bell Haven

· June 13 – 6:00 to 7:30 pm: community open house at SamTrans headquarters in San Carlos – Auditorium. The community open house is open to everyone though we do ask people to register in advance here.
