This might shock you.  It is appalling. It is beyond the pale. But on the other hand, it is what we have come to expect from the lawless Obama administration and what we can now describe as the Eric Holder Department of Injustice:

"The IRS admitted to the court that it failed to search any of the IRS standard computer systems for the 'missing' emails of Lois Lerner and other IRS officials."

That's according to Judicial Watch, the government watch-dog organization that sued the government under the Freedom of Information Act in order to obtain documents that the IRS was refusing to disclose.

The admission, JW says, appeared in an IRS legal brief opposing the Judicial Watch request that a federal court judge allow discovery into how “lost and/or destroyed” IRS records relating to the targeting of conservative groups may be retrieved.
