Mr. Gonzalez,
I wanted to let you know that I had talked with Julia Diana, the new bicycle/pedestrian coordinator for the City of San Antonio about putting in a city path to connect the Hausman Road area to the Kamary Commons jogging trail.
Ms. Diana was interested in knowing what the schedule is for installing the perimeter jogging trail and how wide it would be. I see on the zoning map it states the jogging trail will conform to the standards in section 35-503 of the UDC. According to Table 503-4, jogging trails must be at least 8' wide and be crushed granite, concrete or asphalt. Since most of the trail will be on flood plain, I would like to confirm that it will not be crushed granite.
Could you respond and confirm the approximate time frame for building the trail, its width and what material it will be made from?
