Welcome to the volunteer message board for the bikeMS Citrus Tour!

Join us on March 5th and 6th, 2022 as we support the Mid-Florida chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, in their largest fundraising event of the year, featuring close to 800 cyclists on the (mostly) rural roads of Central Florida.

Start and end points are the Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate. The Citrus Tour is a 2 day event with three routes on Saturday (23 mile, 75 mile and 100 mile) and two routes on Sunday (23 mile and 50 mile route).

This group is geared primarily to amateur radio volunteers, although all volunteers are welcome to participate. If you are not yet a licensed amateur, but would like to become one, let us know by posting a message here. We'll give you all the details.

Volunteers assist in a number of roles, including:

Rest Stop Support
Supply Truck operator
Mobile Rover (patrol course, in vehicle too small to transport a bike)
SAG Rover (patrol course, able to transport bike/rider off course)
Shadow (travel with MS Society officials, to provide an on-air link)
Ride Marshal (on-air bike, patrolling course as a cyclist. This position has additional requirements, so please contact us for info. All skill levels welcome.)
