Anyone riding the cycle North Carolina tour?

I would like to ride in this event, which occurs September 25th to October 2nd this year.  I'd be interested in sharing transportation to and/or from the event.  Has anyone ridden this event in the past and have feedback?

I’m not sure I’d make it but I’d like to try.  I’d like to start in Albemarle.  Could I do that?  Does anyone know if the part from there to Ocean Isle is hilly?  I wouldn’t think so.

I've decided that I am going to do the 3 day option which starts in Asheville on September 26 and goes to Moorseville on Sept. 29.  I'm planning on riding to Charlotte from there.  There is an option to ride from Laurinburg to Ocean Isle Beach from Oct. 1 - Oct. 2.

Let me know if you are riding, or if anyone else decides to ride.  The offer for transportation to Asheville still stands, but I am driving up to Asheville on Friday morning September 24th.
