Subject: Election 2018: Bikes on the ballot

2018 midterm elections ballot tracker

Midterm elections are less than two weeks away.

On November 6, Americans will vote on a broad assortment of elected positions, tax measures and bond proposals. Many of us will get the opportunity to weigh in on current and proposed investments in road and bike infrastructure, parks and trails.

In California alone, $100 million in annual funding for bicycle facilities will be lost if voters decide to repeal a recent increase in the state's gas tax. Is bike funding threatened by a ballot measure in your state?

Get the facts.

Read up on your state and local ballot measures before November 6. Check our ballot tracker to see which measures we're monitoring — a ballot measure may affect bike riding in your community.

Where will you submit your ballot? Do you still need to register? Make a plan using our voter resource map.
