The Adventure Cycling Association (ACA) is holding a regional gathering in Charlotte on 3/16 for those of you interested in bicycle travel. Headquartered in Montana, it's unusual for ACA to have a presence in the southeastern USA.  Should be interesting.  Hope to see you there.

Come find all of these at a special regional gathering of people interested in bicycle travel hosted by Adventure Cycling Association in room 501 of UNC Charlotte Center City on Saturday, March 16 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (program starts at 7:00 PM). This event is being held in partnership with Charlotte Spokes People. During the next year, Adventure Cycling staff will visit more than 40 cities across the United States. At gatherings in all of these cities, we’ll share three things: (1) news and stories on the joys and benefits of bicycle travel, as well as resources for how to travel by bike; (2) exciting new strategic directions for Adventure Cycling; and (3) an opportunity for you to provide ideas for how we can grow a larger and more connected bicycle travel community. This gathering is open to Adventure Cycling members and nonmembers who have an interest in bicycle travel or just want to learn more. Adventure Cycling’s Executive Director Jim Sayer will be on hand for the gathering on Saturday, March 16. Enjoy refreshments and a chance to socialize with many other folks in your area who are interested in bike travel. Please join us and bring a friend! When: Saturday, March 16 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Mingling starts at 6:30 PM, and the program starts promptly at 7:00 PM. Where: Room 501, Fifth Floor, UNC Charlotte Center City, 320 East Ninth Street, Charlotte, NC 28202. Paid parking is available in the gravel parking lot on the corner of 9th and Brevard and free metered street parking is available on the weekends.
