Dear Friend, I recently signed up to participate in American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure. This is an especially exciting time for me to begin fund raising and to ask your help. You will be helping us celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Tour de Cure! I have ridden in the Tour in the past and love supporting this cause. As you may know I am a rider with Diabetes. The Tour de Cure is so much more than an event to me. It's my opportunity (maybe yours too?) to change the future and make a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes. Chances are, you also know someone else who has been affected by diabetes and you already know how important it is to stop this disease. Will you donate to me? I am committed to ride at least 50 miles and would like to ask you to donate at least $50.00. By riding and raising funds in the Tour de Cure, I’ll be helping to train school personnel to keep children with diabetes safe at school, provide assistance to individuals who are being discriminated against because of their diabetes, provide support to people who are newly diagnosed with Type II diabetes, and so much more.
