Santa Cruz Bike Month has shifted a bit and officially kicks off July 1st and goes for the whole month of July. With everything going on in the world, getting out on your bike can help bring some positivity and joy into your life.
You know there is nothing like a bike ride to get some fresh air, connect with your people, get your heart pumping, revel in our paradise, or simply get from point a to b with no emissions. Some of us are commuting to work, others are working from home, so get out for whatever ride feels good to you and help Santa Cruz County mobilize thousands of community members to get out on two wheels this July.
Ecology Action has Santa Cruz Bike Challenge running all month long with weekly prizes to local bike shops for logging just one ride a week, as well as some awesome virtual and socially distanced events throughout July. Check it all out and register here for the Cabrillo team. Participating by logging your rides on the Love to Ride website will connect you with Cabrillo folks and encourage us all to keep rolling even though our shop is closed.
