Cabrillo Bikers,
Your input needed for creating the better bike world we all want.
Let the Santa Cruz County planners know about what needs to change to keep your ride safe and happy.
This is your chance-someone is listening!

Hello!

I'm working on an Active Transportation Plan for the unincorporated County of Santa Cruz, and we're trying to get as much public input as possible this fall about places that could be improved for walking and biking. Would you be willing to share the info below with your email list? If there are other ways of getting the word out, please let me know.

We want to hear from you! Over the next two years, the County of Santa Cruz will create the first Active Transportation Plan for unincorporated areas of the county. The Active Transportation Plan will provide a roadmap for future improvements for walking and bicycling in areas like Davenport, Live Oak, Aptos, Rio Del Mar and the Green Valley corridor, with the goal of making it safer, easier, and more fun to walk and bike in your neighborhood.

Visit our project website and use the Street Story map to tell us about your ideas for new projects, and about any hazards, crashes, near misses, or safe places that you've experienced while walking or bicycling in unincorporated Santa Cruz County: https://ecoact.org/poweredbyme/

Thank you, and please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,

Amelia Conlen | Planner
