Subject: Tell Congress to increase bike funding
To: friend <bike...@cabrillo.edu>

We need full funding for active transit in the next transportation funding bill.

Dear friend,

Congress is about to begin the process of crafting a multi-year transportation spending bill. CalBike and our national advocacy allies are working hard to make sure that the bill includes full funding for the biking and walking projects we need.

Sign CalBike's Petition for More Federal Bike Funding
Californians and all U.S. residents are paying the price for our country's car-dependence—not only in terms of greenhouse gas emissions, but also in pollution and other threats to safety, health, and the economy. Our communities lack funds to build safe bikeways, while billions of dollars pour into climate-killing freeway projects.

It's time for change.

The Biden administration has pledged to combat climate change in every department. The transportation funding bill is the administration's opportunity to demonstrate that commitment. Tell Congress to prioritize active transportation projects that will mitigate climate change and create safer, healthier communities.
Sign the Petition Now.
Raise your voice. Be the change.

P.S. CalBike is an influential advocate because lawmakers know we speak for our thousands of members. Please add your name to our bike funding petition, so we can show Congress our strength in numbers.
