Beautiful forecast for Sunday's Chesapeake ride! Strathmore Concert Next Wednesday!

Join us this Sunday for one of our favorite rides - Chesapeake to
Patuxent! There's a very scenic 5-mile stretch when we ride along the
Chesapeake Bay. Later on we head towards the Patuxent River for more
nice views. We'll eat after at a casual and very good Italian

SUNDAY, JULY 22 - Chesapeake to Patuxent Ride
Meet at 9:30, leave at 10 (note the July/August times)
Meet at Northern High School, 2950 Chaneyville Rd , Owings, MD
29 & 38 mile options. Gentle to moderate hills. Take I-495 to exit 11,
MD 4 east. Go east and south approximately 20 miles on Rte 4 and take
a right on Chaneyville Road. Go 0.8 miles; take a left into Northern
High School parking lot.

Again, Ride meets at 9:30 AM and leaves promptly at 10:00.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 25 - July Get-Together; Music at Strathmore!
6 pm (rescheduled from July 18)
Free Summer Outdoor Concert: Lyndsey Highlander and her Band

This is a perfect venue for a social gathering - and one of our
favorites thru the years; you can bring food and drinks or buy it
there where they bbq picnic food. It's a great mid-summer night's
opportunity to hang out with old/young friends and make new ones.
Look for the Bike and Brunch sign in the back left area.

Strathmore’s known for showcasing the finest young local artists, and
Lyndsey Highlander sounds like a real discovery. She has a powerful
voice full of soul and vulnerability. Her passion is noticeable in her
voice, as her image captures the light on stage. Performing live and
recording since age 13, Lyndsey has developed a strong stage presence.
Her delivery is honest as she lets her emotions speak in her songs.

The Metro Stop is across the street and parking is very easy at meters
(that go til 7) or the Metro Garage.
