HAPPY HOUR
This will be a very fun and casual Holiday Happy Hour - if you've been
a member with us, come on down. If you're new, this would be a great
time to meet you. Chadwicks has a very comfortable area with a
fireplace close by - plus great half-price drinks and appetizer
specials, and a nice affordable menu of food. It is located across
the street from the Friendship Heights Metro plus there is ample
street parking (please read the signs). We will also be collecting
for our Saturday night Jan. 5 Jewish Film Festival Movie Night at the
Navy Memorial. The cost for that is $10 including the film and
reception beforehand. Please tell your friends about both these great
events. Bike and Brunch has a wonderful, almost 20-year tradition of
bringing the DC Jewish community and others together that we would
love to continue.

MOVIE AND RECEPTION
We are really excited to announce our choice and location for this
year's Jewish Film Festival Reception: the Argentine romantic comedy
'All In' at the Navy Memorial on Pennsylvania Avenue across from the
National Archives. This is a wonderful location, rich with history
and easily accessed by Metro or plentiful street and garage parking.
The reception will be at 7 and the film at 8:45. It will cost only $10
for the evening. Please sign up on Meetup (or by replying here) and
we will get back to you on how we will do tickets. We are very
grateful to the DCJCC's Washington Jewish Film Festival for their
cooperation. We hope you support them throughout the Festival - Jan.
3-13. I believe they have Elliott Gould coming in person for another
film plus an evening at the French Embassy. We would love to get a
huge turnout for this and start the New Year right!
