THIS SUNDAY, 3 COVERED BRIDGES RIDE

Meet at 10:00, leave promptly at 10:30
Given the time of year and locale, this ride is a highlight of the
Bike & Brunch season. We'll see llamas and Halloween decorations,
fall colors and streams, mountains (to the west of us) and downtown
Thurmont. But best of all, we will see one, two or three historic
covered bridges, depending on the route you choose. It's a somewhat
hilly ride and your options are 22 (one bridge), 38 (two bridges) and
44 miles (three bridges). But the rewards are plentiful.

Meet at the Motel 6 which, if we are respectful, allows us to use
their bathrooms. Lunch is at a brewpub in downtown Frederick. Take
I-270 to US-40 West. Merge onto W Patrick St/US 40W via Exit 13B
toward W Patrick Street.
