Looking for one room - anyone able to help?

My team is looking for just one room in a condo/house/extra room
block. Absolutely anything. We're both students, so of course
cheaper is better...we're both very quiet and respectful folks (she's
a journalist grad student, I'm a divinity school grad student).

We're doing this ride because my friend's mom has been living with MS
for over two decades. Would love any options people might be willing
to help us with - if you have an extra room you're not using. If not,
we'll camp - but figure it couldn't hurt to ask a wonderful group of
people and see if anyone might have an extra room they aren't using.

I haven't ever actually gotten a room.  Rather, I bring a tent and go to the campsite.  A jitney bus travels back and forth until 8pm, and then picks up a few times in the morning.  There are other riders, and a general camp area where some people just bring sleeping bags (it's covered, but not closed, so prevents falling stuff, but not bugs).  It's at the whipperwhirl campground and only about $5 or $10.
