We Need Your Help!!

We have a big need that I hope you can help with. As you probably know, we have two riders who leave after everyone else and are responsible for “sweeping” the ride. These riders (one on Saturday and one on Sunday) make sure that all straggling riders get to the respective finish lines before the time limit. They encourage them, arrange for SAG if needed, and make sure the route is clear of all riders. It’s a big job that helps ensure the safety and success of the ride.
The same two riders have been sweeping for longer than anyone cares to remember. It’s time to give them a break. Would you please reach out to your teammates and see if any of them would be interested in helping out with this important task. It doesn’t have to be just one rider each day; a group of two or three riders can do it together if they want. The MS Staff and the existing sweep riders can give the new recruits any information and training they might need. Please forward this to your teams and have them respond directly to me if they would like to volunteer or would like more information. Thanks for all your help!
