 My part of the Congressional race upon which I have been working is done, so tomorrow morning I begin the next adventure.

I will ride my bicycle from Atlanta, Georgia, to Williston, ND over the next month, averaging around 80 miles each day. My route will include the following rails-to-trails: Silver Comet; Chief Ladiga; Katy; Flint Hills; Cowboy; George Mickelson; and Maah Daah Hey=
I will cycle through Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota for a total of over 2100 miles.

I intend to take AMTRAK from Williston to Whitefish, MT. From there, I'm inviting all my relations to join me for a ride that will include the following rails-to-trails: Coer d'Alenes; John Wayne; Iron Horse; Snoqualmie-Preston-Issaquah; Coal Creek; Chief Sealth; Interurban; Yelm-Tenino; and Willapa Hills. We'll ride from Montana, through Idaho, and Washington, then finish down the Oregon Coast to Corvallis, by which time I will be very glad to finally come home to the Pi in the Sky Ranch. That's almost another thousand miles and should take about two weeks.<br><br>I doubt I'll be able to keep up with much email, though I hope to blog occasionally. I'll check my voice mail (541-829-9034) as often as circumstances allow. I'm especially eager to hear from you if you would like to ride with me part of all of the way or if you know of a sofa I can sleep on along the way. I plan to camp out a lot, but warm showers are always welcome.
