At its Tuesday, January 21st meeting (7pm, Ypsilanti City Hall, Huron & Michigan), City Council will vote on lane reductions for Huron, Hamilton and Washtenaw that will help slow traffic speeds and also add bike lanes, improve crosswalks, and create on-street parking – without widening the streets.
Please consider attending the City Council meeting and during the Public Comment period (early in the meeting – each speaker allowed 3 minutes) urge a “yes” vote for the Huron-Hamilton-Washtenaw Lane Reductions. If unable to attend the meeting, please contact your City Council members and Mayor Sunday or Monday with contact information at https://www.cityofypsilanti.com/323/Elected-Officials.
