Steve, Just an observation ... Suggested using the app to a cycling friend, but couldn't find it on Play Store when we searched for "bike tracker". Not a problem as we found it when we searched for "PC Ability". Not sure if it's my settings, or that I'm in the UK - thought you might want to investigate.

Actually, when setting up from scratch as presumably your friend will be, there might be an issue with adding Spoken Information.

This is the result of a VERY ANNOYING Google algorithm. I've had the same problem with other apps I've got on Google Play. What you ACTUALLY TYPE isn't really being searched for, but rather you get what Google feels best matches what you are looking for, and what shows up at the top is based on RANKING. It's only when you type something REALLY SPECIFIC like "Bike Tracker PC Ability" that you end up getting the app you are actually looking for. If you are passing along the app to a friend, it's best to use the link to the actual page on play.google.com (this link works on the store app on your phone too).
