How to start navigation

Hello and happy new year!

New user here.  I just linked to RWGPS and loaded a route, but the Start (and Stop) button is greyed out.  How to I start navigating?  I must be missing something obvious. Hoping for some quick pointers here.

Before you can start a track, you have to connect to your GPS. Tap the GPS button and once the GPS has a lock, the START button will become available. It is recommended that you wait until the GPS accuracy is high enough to ensure that you get correct tracking before you press that START button, but it isn't absolutely necessary.
