I've read good reviews of Bike Tracker, I just wanted to clarify something about navigation directions.

Is it possible to create a route in advance (e.g., on RideWithGPS), import it into Bike Tracker, and get turn-by-turn directions with street names?

I'm currently using OsmAND, which is useful but doesn't give street names when following a GPX track (as I understand it, GPX files usually just include coordinates without street names).

Thanks!

RideWithGPS does indeed include street names in the turns it generates. Bike Tracker doesn't create any of this information on its own, and gets all spoken instructions from the routes generated by RideWithGPS. Once a route is created in RWG, you can go through each of the turn instructions and customize it to your liking, as well as remove excess instructions, or add your own.

This is exactly the idea of the RWG service (creating routes in advance). If you plan to use them for creating street-only routes, you will need to change the "Optimized For" setting and set it to "Driving". Normally, their maps are optimized for cycling, and thus it will find routes that bikes can follow, but cars may not. There's also a setting for "Walking" that will specifically follow routes that are safe for pedestrians.
