Saturday morning ride your bike to the Farmer's Market by the Morrison
Reeves Library and receive some free bike maintenance help.

Kent Beisner, a mechanic from Cycling and Fitness Warehouse, will be
there as a volunteer with his bike stand from 8:00 am to about 9:30.
He'll be ready to show folks how to fix a flat tire and other bike
maintenance tasks.

There will be a free bike maintenance handout as well as Richmond Bike
Maps to take home.

I will be some as well and plan to have illustrations of the new bike
rack locations that are planned for Main Street, and expected to receive
final official approval in the next couple of weeks. Perhaps the Depot
District will be next area of town to get new bike racks.

In the afternoon, ride over to the front enterance of Earlham College.
Between about 2 pm and 9pm, about 900 cyclists will arrive after
finishing RAIN-- an one-day, 160 mile ride that starts in Terra Haute
and finishes in Richmond. It's an incredible sight to see so many
cyclists in one place, and enjoyable to watch the variety of people and
expressions as they roll across the finish line.
