FWOD "Allies-Cat" Alleycat Race and After-Party @ Bike Pirates

Hello Pirates!

Here is a bit more information about the FWOD ("Friends WithOut Drama") Allies-Cat event we are partnering on coming up on June 24th.

The alleycat race is aimed at Women/Trans/Femme and Gender-non-conforming folks, and asks allies to help support, promote and run the race! This event aims to be fun and inclusive, for any WTF folks interested in riding!

Everyone is welcome at the party following the race.

Registration is running for an hour or so with the aim of encouraging riders to find a partner or pal to ride with, and making the experience as unintimidating as possible. Lots of great prizes have been donated by local WTF businesses, and the after-party/awards ceremony will be held in our space starting at 9pm.

There will be refreshments (including alcohol) and a DJ.

**We will need a handful of volunteers to assist in cleaning the space and setting up for the event. I will be bringing a PA for the music.

If you are interested and available to volunteer to help with this event please get in touch. I will be out of the country until June 23rd so there won't be much communication leading up to the event unless details change.
