May Day / BMEF Party Tonight

Hey folks,

Just a reminder that the annual May Day Party and Bicycle Messenger Emergency Fund Fundraiser is at Bike Pirates tonight. This is the end point of today alley cat race, and is set to be a great time, kicking off the Spring at Pirates!

The party will start around 9pm and will include dancing, pinatas, kiddie bike races, a raffle for awesome prizes and, of course, beer!

It is $10 at the door to get in, and all the money goes to the BMEF (http://www.bicyclemessenger.org/). If you plan to attend please do not argue with the folks trying to collect money at the door. This is a fundraiser for a good cause.

If any of you volunteers are planning to help out this evening, please send me a note letting me know. A number of people are required to make an event like this go smoothly, and if you are helping me run the space you won't need to pay to get in.
