Bike Repair Class - How to Fix a Flat Tire

Our seasoned team of bike repair volunteers will show you how to change a flat tire on your own bicycle. We will walk you through taking the wheel off the bike, taking the tire off the wheel, finding out why the tire went flat, and how to put it all back together. We’ll also cover the basics of patching tubes, and show you a few tricks that might get you back on the road even when all seems lost.

If you can’t bring your own bike, we’ll have a few loaners available that you can work on.

WHEN: Saturday, January 27, 2024, 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM

WHERE: Bike Pirates, 1564 Bloor St West (between Dundas St W & Dorval Rd)

BRING: Your bike, tire levers and patch kit (if you have them), whatever bike tools you normally ride with. Patch kits & tire levers available for purchase if needed.

COST: Donation requested - $5-$15 sliding scale

Space is limited - please RSVP to eve...@bikepirates.com
