Results OptionsRe: [bika-users] results display

We are molecular genetic lab, and looking for a lims. The results from our lab are mutation states for some genes. I am wandering if it is possible to configure BIKA so that it can display those results instead of attaching the results as an attachment? Thanks
Not sure whether I follow, but you should configure those tests with results options for Analysis services, simplified:
An AS called HIV Resistant Mutation with Results options Mutated and Dormant. These two options will be available for users to select a result from. If you get a numeric result from an instrument, use a Calculation to convert it to one of the options.
Please post a more detailed use case, the above is the very simplest and assuming that I know what I am talking about;-) Please report back regardless.

Results Options
Some Analyses requiring text input as results is best limited to a number of known possible outcomes to prevent typos and irrelevant input skewing reporting. The known outcomes van be pre-configured here and only these allowed when results are captured. These will be offered as options on a drop-down menu on the data capturing screens
