Ah now I understand, multiple selection of To be Verified An were accidentally removed... how we wish for the Undo  function of Plone 2.
  • As per standard UI function, the user should at least be warned and offered the option to Cancel

  • Better imho would be to allow To be Verified An to be added to WSs if they were not appearing on other WSs already. Maybe as a Setup option since labs not using WSs 100% will end up with too much clutter on WS assign pages.
Alas, I don't see this on the muddy radar straight away, and release management wil only take Improvement requests seriously if accompanied with code and pull request. We continue to collect these Jira Senaite Health and LIMS Improvement Requests, cc'ing self to log this one. Some issues have been resolved during the migration, but not retested yet, feel free to comment as such on any you see, feelgood therapy!

Hi Lemoene,

Thank you for the prompt response.

In fact, the addition/removal of analyses in the WS should be allowed to the Lab Manager only. One of the analyst mistakenly removed analyses which he had already submitted for verification. Now, since the analyses is in 'to be verified' state - it can not be assigned to any worksheet. The Lab Manager, then, had to search for all the Analysis Requests containing THOSE analyses and then verified them.

It was really annoying for the lab manager. I think, when an analyses or worksheet has been submitted for verification, deletion should not be allowed.

Best Regards,
Khurram.

Hi Khurram
Hi All, One of our analysts in the lab mistakenly clicked 'Remove' button for all the analysis in a worksheet. Is there any way that we do not allow the Analysts to delete analysis from the worksheet? I mean, when an analyst selects an analysis from a worksheet, the 'Remove' button should never be visible!

The Remove function is necessary for when Analyses have to be removed for valid reasons. You could do it for your local instance but the the Analysis can easily be added to the WS again while it is still open from the Add Analyses tab?
