Hi all,
I've heard back from a few people and there's a clear preference for Sunday (Bill, Chris, Becky, and Shiloh are in - Mark's a maybe). There is a 30% chance of rain predicted, but that's also a 70% chance of no rain! The Bare Bones site provides this:
Weather Cancellation Hotline:
415-640-2116 after 3pm on day of show
If it's canceled because of rain, I'll go on Monday night. I'm planning on biking there, but if anyone wants to carpool, I'd be up for that too. I'll plan on showing up by 6:45 to try to get one of those good hay bale seats.
If we're in the mood, we can adjourn to the Chatterbox post-show for hot toddies*.

the internet: [Hot toddies] were believed to help cure the
cold and
flu, but the
American Lung Association now recommends avoiding treating the common cold with
alcoholic beverages as they cause
dehydration.

Hi all,
This weekend is our last chance to see Bare Bones 2011! If you haven't been, imagine May Day in the fall, in the dark, on the banks of the Mississippi with giant spooky puppets and spooky, semi-apocalyptic, political themes. And if it's anything like last year, there's a rad carnival atmosphere to boot. Take a look-see here:

There are shows Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights at 7pm (Oct. 29/30/31) at Hidden Falls Park (just south of Ford Parkway, St Paul side of the river). Who's in? What night works for people?
