Annual New Year Dinner

Dear All,
The time is upon us to gather and celebrate the onset of the worlds end. We invite you to our home, that is if the world hasn’t yet ended, on Monday January 2nd for the annual Marc Levine dinner. Remember this is the time to push your cooking to new levels letting it unfold like a Werner Herzog documentary. I know that in years past the structure of this event has been, well an afterthought at times, so in an attempt to eat before midnight we have decided that everyone will shop ahead of time and bring what is needed to construct their dish.
I have also devised a game (I know it’s hard to believe) which we can all play in an attempt to win beautiful prizes. To take part all you need to do is ahead of time, email me a new year’s story from your past. Obviously the more odd or funny the story the better. These stories must be real, no fiction please. Keep it at no more than a paragraph describing a new year’s event in your past. Also we will be voting on best of the New Year, the dish which captures the essence of taking it to the next level.
So what time and where you ask? Please join Christine and I at our lovely home on Monday January 2nd 2012 beginning at 5:30. (I know some of us work so if you arrive later no problem). Our address is:
