Boston Census - 1845

Hello New-England members!

 

I'm new to the BIGS group, but have something I'd like to share. I ordered Issac Slater's National Commercial Directory of Ireland (circa 1846/48) through inter-library loan and it came in on microfilm. On the same film was a Census of Boston from 1845! It is the second 'item' on the film as you scroll through it.

 

Julie O'Neill, reference librarian at KRL's Bainbridge branch said that BIGS members could access the film. Ask the reference librarian on duty to look at the mircofilm held under my name, Amy Braswell. The film will be returned to the loaning libary on April 16th.
