Version 2.0.6 of the BigQuery Command Line tool has been released to http://code.google.com/p/google-bigquery-tools/.

New features:
  • "show -j <jobid>" now shows all job errors, making it easier to inspect why a load job may have failed.
  • New "update" command for modifying table properties.
  • Table expiration property can now be set and modified.
  • Service accounts supported via the "--service_account" flag.
  • Any command that accepts an optional job_id can now set it via a global "--job_id" flag.
Key bug fixes:
  • Fix incompatibility between the previous bq.py version and the just-released apiclient.py version.
  • Fix version dependencies: no need to update oauthclient separately from bq.
  • Several minor bug fixes and error message improvements.
To upgrade your current version (if you used easy_install to install it):

easy_install -U bigquery

More detailed installation instructions can be found in our README.

Thank you,

The BigQuery Team
