Likewise with Mandrake Linux 8.2 and installation from .tar.gz, all
works, fires up DHCP, gets address, can FTP to BigPong's server, can't
send traffic out.
I've emailed the author, let's see what happens.

The password here is 100% numeric. I can't see anywhere in bpalogin's
sources that it would make a difference, and it works under WinXP
(until XP destabilises and I have to `re-intall' the cable interface).
