Bigpond ADSL Mail Server Access

With the kind help of various people out there I have pretty much got my
Bigpond ADSL connection configured under Linux.

Receiving mail remains a problem: news server is configured, smpt is
configured and web access is configured.

Attempting to access pop-server gives following response:

Could not login to pop-server.
The server said: "unknown domain".

My ethernet configuration in Yast2 is:

Network Device: eth0
Static Address Setup
IP Address: 10.0.0.10
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Host Name and Name Server Configuration:
Name: linux
Domain: local
Name Server List: 61.9.192.14
61.9.192.15
Domain Search List: vic.bigpond.net.au

Any advice much appreciated
