Thought that may get attention.
I have set up a test machine on: http://assoft.no-ip.org

I have written a service that monitors my firewall and other services then
sms's my mobile with intrusion information.
I need to test it, how do I go about that, I know I can use the various
security sites but need to cover what is not tested by them.

Hey I have opened the following services if anyone is feelling bored have a
go.
Telnet
Terminal Server
FTP
WWW
and a few im not telling 8-)

After testing Ill make the source available to public.
Just of interest it monitors 2 of my servers.

No not if you think about it,.
As far as security you can only prevent what you know as a perceved atack,
its the things that you dont know that give you problems.

It does not matter what platform or server you are running there are loop
holes that can be massaged into either DOS attacks or acess to resources.
What i am after is proving a new software product that will as well as
notify client by mobile or pstn and provide a new level of security.

To put it another way we have run all we can against our test server so are
looking at others to beta test it for us in ways we may not have thought
about.

Well what do you get for doing it, A copy of the source in the public
domain.

Perminanly, Its our test server.
We have thrown every thing we can at it, and can't get in or get it to
fallover.
But I guess there are some who will and that what im after, its abit slow
while under testing as im porting the packets to a packet analyser from all
ports while in debug mode.

I will fax anyone who wants to try, a signed authorisation on letterhead to
anyone who wants to give us a hand.
The only thing I need is some one to drop a text file on desktop, not to
actually remove the whole HD.
We need to read the log files guy's and as its only a test server we are
storing the logs on actual isolated server not on backup server.
Just send me an email and Ill fax back a authorisation document

test server http://www.assoft.no-ip.org/assoft/ its a duplication of
our web server only.
open ports.
