ADSL using an SMC Broadbandrouter.

HI
Im using ADSL, and have the system running thru a broadband router. It has
its own NAT and supposed to pevent intrusion as well.
However I hav lately noticed the following messages
Thursday, 21 February 2002 1:08:38 PM Unrecognized access from
195.119.1.180:2301 to TCP port 23
Can ayone explain whats going on.

Someone is trying to telnet into your computer. Are you
running a telnet server ? Does this message mean they
succeeded in accessing your computer ?
