How do I set up Cisco VPN with Bigpond cable?

Hi,

Just got my cable modem from Telstra. I already have a home network
and have set-up ICS successfully.

I'm stumped with my dilemma. I have a company laptop that allows me to
access our company's network using CISCO VPN tunnel using dial-up
connection and I'd like to use my cable connection to make it faster.
I can't make it work when I hook it up to my home network. I always
get a message saying "remote peer connection terminated". The only way
I made it work was to install the VPN app into my computer that's
connected directly to my cable modem. And to use VPN I even have to
disable internet sharing. I can understand this but is there a way to
get around this?

Any thoughts would greatly be appreciated.
