How to make biglybt my default app for magnet link in macos chrome

I am on a macbook pro 2017 with the latest version of macos and latest version of chrome browser. I switched from vuze to biglybt and all torrent files are set to open in biglybt by default, but chrome still wants to open magnet files in vuze. I uninstalled chrome and reinstalled it, thinking that would cause it to grab the new setting from the system but it didn't. How can I make biglybt my default app for magnet link in macos chrome? I've looked in Chrome settings but it doesn't have a "handler" setting there anymore for file types and I can't find any useful tips online. I know how to copy the URL and enter it manually into BiglyBT but what I want is to have the magnet link open in BiglyBT automatically.

I found a fix: turns out I'd uninstalled my old Vuze app improperly by simply deleting it, rather than using the uninstaller. Happily, the uninstaller was still there in my applications folder, so I uninstalled it, and that did the trick. Suddenly, BiglyBT became my default app for magnet links in Chrome. Yay!
