Hi
Firstly , the blog by you is amazing. Most of the suggesting you give are amazing. Great work. Comming to my problem
I My age 25 years and weigh 133 lbs.I look lean and my hands and legs are so thin. But i have man boobs and love handle around my belly. I cant take off my shirt so proudly as every body.

To get rid of my man boobs and love handle around my belly I am doing cardio vascular exercise, Uphill on threadmill for half an hour on inclination 12 and speed 3.0
and after that I mostly focus on upper chest exercises.I do this every alternate day.

I am willing to gain body mass and grow lean body mass.

As of Now my Diet consists of

3 egg whites-after workouts
3 egg whites for my lunch
1 Clif's Builder Potein Bar 20mg Proteint at 11am

I am looking for your suggesting to add up some protein shake to my diet.

what are the supplements /shakes best suitable for me to take.
after through research i got to know that i should betaking whey proteins, but not sure which brand or which brand's nutritious values suit me.

last night i have bought Body Fortress Super whey protein shots(Fruit punch) which are tasting really great, but not sure how far they really work.

Please, can you help me out choosing the right supplement powder/shakes.
I stay in US, so If you know any brands available in US,that would be much helpful to me.

Thanks In Advance

 Regards
Vamsi

Vamsi,

I can understand your problem. For you you are underweight and also
holding a lot of fats...

so i would suggest you to go on a high protien diet with moderate
carbs and fats -

take in six meals a day

take protein shake immediately after your workouts and in some other
meal...

make sure that you take in 30g of protein in each of the six meals and
equal amounts of carbs in them.. FAts will be hidden in them so do not
worry much. Buy some omega 3 supplement of cod liver oil and take it
with your last meal before bed.

include lots of fibrous vegetables in your diet to get varied range of
vitamins...

Regarding workout -

train with weights for 4 days in a week and do 25 mins cardio at the
end of workout.

Your workout will look like this

day 1 - chest shoulder triceps abs
day 2 - leg back biceps

day 3 - off

day 4 - chest shoulder triceps abs
day 5 - leg back biceps

day 6- off
day 7- off

repeat-----

choose two exercises per bodypart and do 4 sets each in 8-12 rep range

supplements - get a whey isolate supplement (any good brand is ok...)

when you have it post workout - have it with water

and when you have it as a meal other than post workout - have it with
low fat milk

Thanks a lot for Murali for your reply. I shall immediately start with the schedule you have mentioned.
and I am going with Optimum 100% gold Whey protein Supplement , as for the supplement powder is concerned.

Thanks a lot.
