BigJob on Stampede and other matters

We're working towards a detailed response to the problems you are facing.

I'll summarize the three issues as:

1. BigJob on Stampede
2. BigJob on Hector
3. File transfer issues.

In this email I'll give you quick solutions to #1 via a few URLS.

If it is just installation you're looking for, then the following should suffice:

If you're looking for Stampede specific configuration information, the following
two sites should more than suffice:

The latter URL also gives you examples of how to run ensemble simulations
using BigJob. We'll be back by Monday with illustrative examples for file
transfer, when we'll also provide examples and details of how to run BigJob
on Hector (its ugly, but it apparently works).

In general, I would urge you to sign up to the mailing list (bigjob...@googlegroups.com). There are about 25-50 users of BigJob

who are, for the most part, able to get their problems resolved

I assure you I am constantly monitoring the mailing list and ensure
due escalation as needed. But the mailing list ensures that I am
not the slow point.
