Isthis a joke ? i was able to play normally before 1.0 . Now i stuck on endless loading screen, no matter my character and where is he on the map. Tried integrity of files and everything. I payed for product that does not work anymore. Please somebody from LE team get back to me.
Please try to run .exe file as Administrator. Or set it to always run as Administrator in the compatibility settings as explained in this post (link below). This solved my problem of stuck loading screen.
After the major update ("Project Lupara"), I'm unable to log into the game. When I hit "enter facility," the game hard freezes during the loading screen. This only happens in DX12 mode. DX11 mode works, but with poor performance, stuttering, and graphical glitches.

Since I did a windows update yesterday, I keep having these random loading screens while I'm playing the game. I did a windows 10 reset, reinstalled my drivers and SWTOR and the problem is still there. I have an ASUS X555L, GT840M. Everything worked fine before doing this windows update. The loading screen image appears randomly while I'm walking, using an ability or just standing around. Before the loading screen appears, the game does freeze for a second and then the loading screen comes up, like the game is rendering.
There is listed one critical event: Settings. It says it stopped working but whenever I try to check for a solution, it says no solution found. Besides the critical events, there is a list with my drivers installed sucessfully.
Update :
Managed to access the BIOS setup screen by pressing F7 at booting. However, when I try to get back to loading Windows 10, it brings back to the BIOS setup screen. Now stuck at this. Anyone can help?
Version: 1.00
Size on disc: 7.329GB
General Notes:
No updates available. All trophies are obtainable.
The Dualsense controller supports light effects, such as the health status.
Some very minor pop-in is present on the game and DLC, resulting in very small white flashes in the edges of the screen as the assets load in. Very minor issue.
* Notes for Outlast:
Three playthroughs completed: one in Normal mode, one in Nightmare mode, and one in Insane mode.
There was one occasion where Walker got stuck at a door while trying to kick it down.
Indication prompts for hints stopped appearing in the final stage of the game.
Subtitles got superimposed over each other and flickered across two playthroughs, in a specific spot.
Trager got stuck on a door once.
There was one occasion where the player's character got decapitated for a few seconds. Looking around was possible, and the dead body of the player could be seen walking. Returned to normal afterwards.
There was one time where after dying, the game got stuck in a black screen instead of automatically reloading the checkpoint. Restarting the game was necessary.
Finishing the game and reaching the rolling credits will bring the player to an infinite loading screen. This happened on all playthroughs tested. Restarting the game was necessary to return to the main menu.
* Notes for Outlast Whistleblower:
Three playthroughs completed as well: one in Normal mode, one in Nightmare mode, and one in Insane mode.
There was a gas locker door that took a while to unlock despite having gotten successfully unlocked.
The game froze once right after reaching a saving spot where the player is looking at the burning church. Restarting was necessary. The game has notable tendency to freeze at this specific spot.
No further issues.
Perfectly playable disc build, with only a few annoyances that are easily fixed.
While fighting the Mega Mantiqueen in Devil's Peak Caverns, it put me on fire and I wouldn't stop burning. I kept using the emergency medical inhaler to stay alive, but it just kept going on forever. I saved while I was burning and when I reloaded it was burning for a little while, then it stopped.
I'm sorry you're having an issue with the burning effect from the Mega Mantiqueen. We have our development team looking into it and hope to have a fix for it shortly. To expedite your request, you can send an e-mail to our publisher, Private Division at
sup...@privatedivision.com. This will get your issue into their queue and allow us to prioritize requests to ensure the fastest possible turn around time. We apologize and thank you for your feedback.
Found a temporary workaround: I attempted to leave the cave, hoping a loading screen might reset buffs and debuffs with a check and Nyoka stopped me right before the exit. After the dialogue, I wasn't burning anymore.
Still doing it on Xbox One S in 2022. So Obsidian hasn't looked into this or have they fixed it. So this is one more Obsidian game I won't be playing. And if they keep it up with this type of support for their games, I won't be playing any new Obsidian games. I'm SICK and TIRED of these gaming corporations doing this to consumers. So if they won't fix it, I won't play it.
Having burning issues too, but in Monarch. Once on fire I can't find anyway of putting the flames out, so they burn continuously. It just makes the game unplayable. Really would have thought they would have found a fix by now...
Still happening 14 October 2023. Such a shame as I was going to buy the DLCs but not now and probably will not buy anything from Obsidian in the future. They're just like every other game company, releasing games that are broken and never bothering to fix them.
Although Outlast Trials is completely playable in single-player, it can often be far easier and more enjoyable to team up with other Reagents to conquer missions. Although you can team with players met in the in-game lobby, you can also invite your friends to join your group, allowing you to face the terrors of the Reagent program together.
After loading into Outlast Trials, you'll wake up in the in-game lobby. When you're ready, hit TAB to open the terminal menu screen. Here you'll see a section that allows you to pick a trial and a section that allows you to invite Reagents to your team. The full menu layout is shown below.
If you want to play with friends, turn your attention to the section of the screen where you can see your character. Next to them are three silhouettes with plus icons. Click one of the plus icons and you'll pull up the invite screen.
This screen allows you to do several things. You can head to the Friends tab to invite anyone on your friends list to join you. You can head to the In Sleep Room tab to invite anyone from the current in-game lobby to join. You can head to the Recent Trials tab to invite anyone from a previous trial you've completed. Or you can use the Quick Invite tool in the Group tab for the best selections from all three tabs.
If your friends aren't in the Quick Invite list, head to the Friends tab, select the player you want to invite and then click Invite to Group from the drop-down menu. If they accept the invitation, they'll then be added to your group and will appear next to your character in the Terminal Menu. You can check your current group quickly by heading to the Pause Menu and clicking the Group tab.
From here, the player to create the group will now be the Group Leader. You can see which player is the leader via the golden crown beside their name. The group leader has complete control over which trials are played. When the whole team is ready, the leader can select a trial from the trial menu and click launch to get the team into a mission. The leader can hand their leadership to another player by heading into the group menu, selecting the player they want to give it to and picking Promote to Leader from the drop-down menu.
