Hello BIRG,

Our October 13 meeting at Le Boulanger proved to be a lively discussion about how Nothing can be Really Something--vacuous space may be filled with all kinds of massive invisible activity.  And, some of it may lead to insights on Dark Matter and Dark Energy, the remaining 96% of the undiscovered universe.  The Higgs boson is alive and well and the Large Hadron Collider is busy at work making further discoveries from the 10+ TeV proton collisions at CERN.

Our November 10 meeting will be at Kepler's at 4P.  Kepler's had it's grand reopening October 16,  so the construction we worked around last time will be finished.
Copies of the revised edition of The Evolution of Cooperation are available at Kepler's at 15% discount for BIRG.

Our first book from the most recent election is The Drunkard's Walk by Mlodinow and will be our December 8 book at Le Boulanger at 3:30P.

Hope to see you at Kepler's, November 10.
