Hi BIRG,   Our next two meetings:   June 16 (third Satrday of this month) Truth: A Guide  by Simon Blackburn Admirably sketching the battle lines currently staked out over the idea of objective truth, a Cambridge professor of philosophy makes his subject lively and accessible even as he parts some of its deepest waters, with absolutists-traditionalists-realists on the one side and relativists-postmodernists-idealists on the other.   July 14. Do Not Go Gentle, Book One, Discovery [book one of three], by Mark Millstorm (Muhlestein), BIRG member. This is his new book that  came out late 2011 on Kindle. You can download a free trial copy of Amazon Kindle useable on your computer.  Earth in path of Black Hole!! Now what?   SETIcon II--Where Science and Imagination Meet is on June 22-24 at the Hyatt Santa Clara  INFO:   www.seticon.org    We are meeting at Le Boulanger at the Southeast corner of De Anza and Stevens Creek in Cupertino, 20488 Stevens Creek in front of the Cypress Hotel.
