If you've used Windows Phone before, Lumia 640 won't be a stranger. You still get the aesthetically andfunctionality superior tiled interface, with simple, clean colors. If you feel like adding drama and confusionto your home screen, you can enliven tiles, get them to spin and display information, and replace thebackground with an image. I went for a more serene look, which you see here.

3) THIRD-PARTY APPS with LIVE TILES. Do you want more apps ? Feel free to download them from the Store. As I like plenty of live tiles in the Home screen, I usually install and enjoy the following set of apps, because they (still) show updated live tile contents, as my personal selection:
As you can see, all built-in Microsoft apps are still working, with updated live tiles, and you can install more apps via the Microsoft Store, or - if you are geeky enough - sideload apps using the in-built WP10 function (go to Menu, Update and Security, For Developers, and then select "Developer Mode" to install any signed app and use advanced development features).
Install Notifications Visualizer. This free Windows app helps you design adaptive live tiles by providing an instant visual preview of your tile as you edit it, similar to Visual Studio's XAML editor/design view. See Notifications Visualizer for more information, or download Notifications Visualizer from the Store.
To accomplish this, the live tiles have shrunk down to fit, but the size will vary slightly based on your phone's screen size. You can now have three large size tiles side by side, one wide tile and one large tile side by side, or six small tiles in one row. Compared to Windows Phone 8, the Start screen now looks more modern, with less wasted space.
Taking some inspiration from Android and iOS, you can also now set a wallpaper on your Start screen to add some personality your phone. Just like before, there's still a white or black space between the tiles (depending on the theme you choose), but instead of a solid color background on each tile, you'll see a piece of the larger wallpaper image. You can pick from several stock images from Microsoft or choose your own photos.
The wallpaper shows up in the background of your live tiles and scrolls as you swipe up and down on the start screen. However, you'll only see the image you pick in certain live tiles, mostly the pre-installed system apps such as the phone dialer, messaging app, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. Any apps where the developer creates a specific live tile design, such as Office or Pandora, won't show the wallpaper.
Windows Phone fanatic Ghani Pradita has made a Windows Phone 10 concept which he would like to share with all of you today. It combines old UI elements along with new features (interactive live tiles) and alot more to create a beautiful user interface. Check out his concept below.
