Surrey League Affiliation

Hi Guys

I attended the Surrey League AGM and presentation this afternoon and have collected Bill's and Craig's prize money that will need to be paid into the Bigfoot account then cheques drawn up and forwarded on in the near future, see attachment.

I have spoken to Glynn today and there is a possibility that we may be allowed back into the Surrey League but we will need to be able to support a road race. I would like to know if the racers/TT's would like to make this a priority and help support this event to regain our affiliation with the Surrey League? This will include being able to enter both the road racers and TT events that they hold. Please let me know your feelings either way, there is no right or wrong answer I just need to know if it is possible for us to fulfil our obligations and if people want to ride an event held under the Surrey League.

I'll kick things off, my vote is to stay in the Surrey League and I'm willing to help out.

Hi Gary

Just having a look as Surrey League do not have any TT’s listed in their events - plant of E/1/2/3/4 racers mind!

I will support if I can but with no TT’s not sure what I’d get from them.

Thanks for attending and speaking to Glynn. 

I am happy to help support a race as i would like the option to ride Surrey leagues again this year. 

How many support people would it need? could we do it jointly with other club(s)? 

It might be a bit of an ask to get non racing members to help as  Bigfoot is already committed to the Serrl and Ctt events.

Gary,
    Do you have the 2017 SL calendar, their website isn't totally up to date and is missing category information etc. It's hard to make a decision without knowing if it's worth the investment.
