Small Can, Big Fire. The Ignik FireCans are safe, easy, and packable for campfire anywhere you go. With a tried-and-true compact design, the FireCan is rugged and easy to store and transport, bringing the fun of campfire to places a traditional campfire can't go. Featuring folding legs, a toolless, quick-release hose, and a removable lid everything you need is included in one easy-to-carry package. Sets up in seconds and provides an adjustable flame that is visible through the mesh sides and radiates heat to where you need it. The FireCan has a heat output of about 38,000 BTU/hr. on its high setting. In general, 1 gallon of propane can output about 91,500 BTU. Our 5 lb. Gas Growlers hold roughly 1.2 gallons of propane, so a full Gas Growler will run the FireCan on max setting for approximately 2.5 - 3 hours. High altitude and low temperatures can affect propane burn efficiency, so these numbers may vary depending on conditions.

Unfortunately, we do not sell the grill inserts separately, and have found that it would likely not work well in our standard FireCan. The original FireCan's flame is not exactly suitable for cooking, and is calibrated for heat, while the FireCan Deluxe has two separate burners, one for heat and one for cooking.

Yes! However, please make sure you only use lava rocks or glass that are specifically intended for fire pits and high heat applications. You can find these in most hardware stores in the patio/garden section. River rocks, stones, and lava rocks used for landscaping are not designed for high heat and can crack or explode if heated in a fire.

Just got my elite yesterday and I'm trying it out on my patio.i use half the moonrocks with gas on low and flame is perfect. I would recommend this to anyone well built perfect little fire pit. cant wait for travels it is awesome.

I love this little Fire Can! It puts out a good amount of heat with the FireCan Rocks in there. The ground underneath stays cool too so I don't have to worry about what surface I'm using it on. We used it for an after work evening climb session along with the Gas Growler 5.0 Deluxe and it was the perfect set up. Easy to use, super portable. This will go with me everywhere. I think it will be a perfect little fire for the parking lot at the mountain too and takes up way less space than my portable fire pit.

Formed in 1991, Elite Fire Protection has been providing fire safety solution for over 30 years.
Originally beginning as a team of three, Elite has since expanded to a business of over 50 employees across three locations.

For over three decades, the Elite Software Fire program has earned a reputation among professional fire protection designers as a best buy. These designers demand a full set of features, a user-friendly interface, and an affordable price. And Fire delivers all of that. Download the functional demonstration of Fire today and find out why so many consider Fire the best value in fire protection hydraulic calculation software.

The Fire Program quickly performs all necessary hydraulic calculations as required by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 13). Fire also estimates sprinkler head requirements, calculates optimal pipe sizes, and automatically performs a peaking analysis. Fire can handle all types of sprinkler systems (trees, grids, loops, and hybrids) with up to 1,000 or more sprinklers and pipes. Meters, backflow preventers, alarm check valves and standpipes can also be analyzed.

Fire calculates the GPM water flow and velocity through all pipe sections, the GPM flow and residual pressure at each sprinkler head, the pressure losses incurred in each pipe section due to both friction and elevation changes, the maximum system demand pressure, and the total water GPM demanded by the system. The report format is designed to aid both the designer and the plan reviewer.

Download the free functional demo here that allows you to calculate for small pipe networks with up to 10 pipe sections. Create your own small project or load the built-in sample project and explore all the features of the Fire program to see how quickly you could begin using the Fire software for your own project.

Fire uses the Newton Raphson matrix solution technique to solve pipe networks, and each pipe is defined to flow according to the Hazen Williams equation. Calculations can be made for a given water supply pressure or they can be performed such that Fire determines the lowest water supply pressure needed to adequately supply the sprinkler system. Calculations are very fast and accurate. The user manual lists all the pertinent equations to allow for a full manual verification.

All input is checked at the time of entry so that no improper data can be entered. Upon completion of the input process, all data is saved and can be reviewed and edited whenever desired. Two types of data are requested: general project data and pipe segment data. The general project data includes the project name and location, the client name, sprinkler specifications, hazard description, density requirements, hose stream allowances, hydrant test data, and other data. The pipe data requires that each pipe section be defined as having a beginning and ending node number. If sprinkler heads are located at the pipe nodes, then the sprinkler K-factor must be given. In addition, the pipe length, nominal size, material type, and fitting quantities and types must be entered for each pipe section. Fire contains a built-in library of pipe materials that includes cast iron, copper, steel, PVC, pex, and many others. The pipe library allows up to 50 user defined pipe materials as well. Fitting equivalent lengths are automatically looked up, depending upon fitting type, size, and pipe material. Here are some of the data entry screens.
