Abhishek Sinha, AWS will introduce Amazon Redshift a fast, fully managed, petabyte-scale data warehouse service that makes it simple and cost-effective to efficiently analyze all your data using your existing business intelligence tools.

Daryl Arnold CEO of Newton Circus (the people behind upsingapore.com) will provide an update on new data sets and development plans for the Data SandBox (http://upsingapore.com/datawiki/doku.php) plus a heads-up on a new platform geared towards supporting the Data Science and Business Analytics community.

Ami Shi-Nash, the Director, R&D Lab at SingTel will be the subject of our new series "I'm a Data Scientist, Ask Me Anything." (Hat tip to Reddit for the idea...)  Amy will be talking a bit about what Singtel is doing with big data analytics and what the day-to-day life of a data scientist is like. Hear the real story of what it's like to be a data scientist from a real data scientist!

As usual, networking from 6-7pm, from 7-9pm presentations and Q&A.  Afterwards, if you desire, we can join up and head out for a beer.
