Hi all
We're an education provider and we are using BBB to run virtual classroom events for certain courses we offer. Our student management system is Moodle and our aim is to contain the learning experience within Moodle.
Once a student has done a certain amount of work, we can then allow a
Scheduler module to appear, where they can book themselves in to an upcoming virtual classroom session. Scheduler itself handles the email notifications, reminders, handling of maximum participants etc. This self-service element is vital for us.
My question is that from time to time, we have the need to include a student enrolled in another course into one of these sessions. We cannot enrol this student into the course in question (as they're enrolled in a separate course entirely). We essentially want to allow them to join the session as an ad hoc attendee.
We've not found any way to do this. Moodle seems to handle the security and access privileges, and the only way to access the session in question is through the "Join session" button.

Can anyone think of a solution to this issue?
We need to maintain the scheduling/self-service functionality, but need additional flexibility to invite ad hoc attendees when required.
I'd love to hear some alternative approaches. Thank you!
