Cant see screen sharing & cam when not using VPN

Hi, I am a college student and whenever I'll enter a conference room. The profs screen share and cam is just reloading for indefinite time and all I have is the professors audio.
I started using wind scribe & turbo VPN and luckily solved this.
My problem is that this VPNs have data limits up to 10gb. How can I have a good conference without it?
