We recommend you run BigBlueButton on a dedicated (not virtualized server).  See

If you're curious about the whether to use an SSD vs. HDD with
BigBlueButton -

My current recommendation is to use HDD storage, because most of the
disk usage by BigBlueButton is saving relatively large media files for
the recordings. HDD are available at higher capacities than SSD for
lower prices, and the high IOPS performance of an SSD is not required.
