Still getting checksum error

I just stalled Bigblue button and i changed the salt in bigbluebutton.properties  and demo1.jsp page  as ritvik   .

I am able to create meeting My bigblue server is returning me the joining url

But whenever I am pasting that Url in browser I am getting the CHECKSUM ERROR .


Please help me what might I am doing wrong there .

I already restarted BBB server two times after changing the salt .

Hi,

Try setting the salt with the command

sudo bbb-conf --setsalt YOUR_NEW_SALT

Hi Ritvik,

A clarification .. the current functionality for setting the shared secret (salt) 

  sudo bbb-conf --setsalt <new_salt>

does not change the configuration for API demos.  You would need to edit this file

  /var/lib/tomcat6/webapps/demo/bbb_api_conf.jsp

If you run 

  sudo bbb-conf --check

you'll see a warning message to this effect.
